Your donation helps protect your lake

The Environment Council is currently seeking financial support for a number of key initiatives that contribute to the protection of water quality in the lakes. Funds are required to support:

Shelagh Landsmann

- evaluation of terrestrial wetlands connected to our lakes,

- monitoring the health of, and potential pollution sources in, streams feeding into the lakes,

- continuing our shoreline evaluation and restoration program, and

- developing an environmental education program for youth.

Private donations to support the Environment Council’s research and environmental protection work may be made through the Stony Lake Heritage Foundation. Donations of $40 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. To make a donation, please make your cheque payable to the Stony Lake Heritage Foundation, and specify that your donation is for the Environment Council for Clear, Ston(e)y and White Lakes. Please include your full name and address. The Foundation will provide a tax receipt.
